Multiple screens.
Sabre can be installed on most smart devices, giving you full access to the system wherever you need it. In tow vehicles or motorhomes, the complete Sabre interface can be accessed right from the driver’s seat through tablets or compatible head-units.
Mount it on the dashboard for quick control, use the levelling screen when parking, or switch on outside lights as you arrive at night. You can even turn on the heater before stepping inside, making every journey more convenient and comfortable.
Alarms & Alerts.
Sabre keeps your van secure and connected by sending instant notifications to your phone whenever nominated sensors are triggered. This turns your van into a monitored security system, giving you peace of mind whether you’re nearby or away.
You can choose which sensors send alerts, from urgent security triggers that activate the siren and strobe to handy reminders like full waste tanks. With alerts delivered directly through the Sabre App, you’ll always know what’s happening with your van in real time.

Sabre makes life easier by responding intelligently to your needs. For example, if you get up at 2am, Sabre knows you’ve been in bed and will gently turn on the bathroom light as it detects movement, guiding you safely without fumbling for switches in the dark.

Find My Van.
When you’re moving from caravan park to caravan park on a long trip, it’s easy to forget exactly where you’ve parked. With the Sabre App, you’ll never lose track - simply open the app and let it guide you straight back to your van.
The interactive map shows your van’s location alongside your own, with directions available for driving, walking, or even public transport. You can also share your van’s position with family for added peace of mind. Whether you’re exploring a new town or returning late at night, Sabre makes finding your van simple and stress-free.
Location Services.
Sabre stays connected to the internet whenever you’re in service areas, allowing it to pinpoint your exact location. This means it can help you navigate and discover what’s around you, making your travels easier and more convenient. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite, a place to shop, or points of interest, Sabre can guide you to nearby destinations effortlessly.
In addition, Sabre helps you find essential services such as the nearest petrol station or caravan park, keeping your journey smooth and stress-free. You can also stay updated with local news and record your trip on a map, ensuring you have a complete overview of your travels and experiences.
Theft Protection.
If your caravan is ever targeted by theft or intrusion, Sabre acts as a vigilant guardian, detecting and recording any suspicious activity while keeping you informed of your van’s current location. Safety Monitoring.
Sabre’s ceiling-mounted unit offers comprehensive monitoring for your environment, providing real-time data and alerts to keep you informed and safe. It integrates a variety of sensors and inputs, allowing you to track air quality, receive camera feeds, detect movement, and monitor smoke alarms, all with the option to trigger notifications or messages when needed.
The unit is equipped with air quality and temperature sensors, internal motion detectors, and camera feeds, while also allowing connection to external smoke alarms. For added safety, it includes a strobe and siren for alarms, as well as infra-red transmitters, ensuring a robust and responsive monitoring system for your space.
Switching.
Sabre gives you complete control over your caravan’s electrical systems, allowing you to operate up to 16 different lights, light groups, fans, pumps, slide-outs, and any 12 or 24-volt devices with a total capacity of 30 amps. For 240-volt items, you can easily control them using plug attachments, making it simple to manage all your onboard equipment from one central system.
Each of the 16 switch channels is monitored by Sabre, ensuring you always know the status of your devices. The system supports momentary switches for slide-outs, provides direct power of up to 10 amps per switch, and lets you customise the names of your switches for easy identification and personalised control.
Physical Switches.
Physical switches can be integrated with the Sabre system, allowing it to detect when they are operated and update the switch status in the app in real time. This ensures that manual operation never causes confusion, keeping the system’s information accurate and reliable.
With this monitoring, you can easily check whether switches are on or off directly from the app, helping you save power and manage your caravan efficiently. The system supports monitoring of up to six physical switches, providing a seamless connection between manual controls and Sabre’s smart interface.
IR Device Control.
Not all devices in your caravan or motorhome can be connected directly to Sabre via cables, so the system emulates an infra-red remote control for complete integration. This allows you to operate a wide range of appliances and systems seamlessly, even without physical wiring.
With Sabre’s IR capabilities, you can control air conditioners, TVs, and entertainment systems directly from the ceiling-mounted unit. IR extenders can also be installed for improved coverage, and the IR controls can be updated to support new devices, ensuring your system remains flexible and future-proof.
Power Monitoring.
Sabre continuously monitors your power input and usage, providing a detailed overview of your battery’s status and how long it is expected to last based on current consumption. This gives you confidence in managing your energy and ensures you can plan your usage effectively.
The system displays your battery voltage and state, tracks power coming in from solar panels and DC-to-DC charging, and monitors power usage over time. It also estimates how long your batteries will last, helping you make informed decisions to maintain a reliable power supply throughout your journey.
Tank Monitoring.
Sabre keeps a close eye on your tank levels, ensuring you never run out of essential drinking water and preventing overfilling of your waste tanks. The system provides real-time monitoring and alerts, giving you peace of mind while on the road.
You can customise the names of your tanks and connect different types of tank sensors, with support for up to four tanks. Sabre also tracks water usage over time, helping you make accurate estimates for future trips and manage your resources efficiently.
Weather.
Sabre provides comprehensive weather information, showing both conditions inside your van and the current and forecast weather for your location. This helps you stay informed and plan your activities, whether you’re on the road or relaxing at your campsite.
The system displays internal temperature and humidity, local weather conditions, and a five-day forecast. It also provides details such as sunrise and sunset times, temperature ranges, pressure, humidity, wind, and rainfall, giving you a complete picture of the weather at a glance.
Customisation.
Sabre lets you personalise your caravan or motorhome setup by customising switch names and operations, tank names and types, and wall switch connections. These adjustments can be made easily through either the Sabre screen or the app, giving you full control over your system.
You can assign your own names to all switches and tanks, select tank types such as fresh, grey, or black, and map physical wall switches to Sabre’s switch channels. This customisation can be carried out by either the van owner or an installer, ensuring the system fits your specific needs and preferences.
Levelling.
Sabre features a 9-axis sensor that lets you see exactly how level your caravan is, making it easy to achieve a perfectly balanced setup. You can take your phone or tablet with you while adjusting your van to ensure precise leveling every time.
The system provides a spirit-level screen that can be used inside or outside the van, and you can view the level directly from the dashboard of your tow vehicle. Sabre also allows control of powered levellers, helping you achieve the ideal position quickly and effortlessly.
Sliders.
Sabre lets you control the sliders on your caravan or motorhome directly from your phone or tablet, allowing you to check clearances and obstacles while adjusting them from outside. This makes setup safer and more convenient, giving you full control over your vehicle’s extendable features.
You can operate sliders, TV risers, blinds, and more, with multiple sliders able to move together. Safety systems ensure that sliders stop if there’s any obstruction, and they only move while the control button is pressed. Sabre connects directly to the motors or relays, providing reliable and precise operation every time.
Document Access.
The Sabre system lets you or your installer upload instruction manuals in PDF and HTML formats, making them easily accessible through the app. This ensures you have all the information you need at your fingertips, even when offline.
Manuals can be updated at any time, and both installers and owners have the ability to upload files. Beyond instruction manuals, you can also add maps, itineraries, and other important documents, keeping everything organised and convenient for your travels.
Installation.
Sabre is designed for easy installation, whether during manufacture, renovation, or conversion of your caravan or motorhome. The unit is mounted in a cabinet and provides control over 16 channels with a total capacity of up to 30 amps, making it a versatile solution for managing your onboard systems.
It allows you to control switches for pumps, lights, and other devices, as well as connect tank sensors and shunts. The unit features a power/reset switch, status LEDs, and is IP65 rated, meaning it is dustproof and safe for hose-down cleaning. Compact and robust, it measures 159mm x 239mm x 95mm, fitting neatly into your vehicle.
Updates.
The Sabre system can be easily and regularly updated through the app, using either your van’s internet connection or your phone when in mobile service areas. This ensures your system stays current with the latest features and improvements.
Updates include new functionality for both the app and devices, as well as important security patches. When in range of the van’s connection, updates are downloaded directly, and if out of range, your phone can provide the necessary updates, keeping your system up to date wherever you are.
Sabre VanCare.
Sabre keeps a detailed record of your caravan or motorhome’s history, tracking where it has been, what maintenance has been performed, who has worked on it, and any incidents it has been involved in. This information is accessible to both owners and service centres, providing a complete overview of the vehicle’s history.
The system records the odometer via GPS, logs all work carried out by service centres, and enables remote diagnostics while on the road. It also tracks warranty information, and crash sensors capture any damage history, ensuring a thorough and accurate record for maintenance, resale, or insurance purposes.
Sabre Web Portal.
Sabre’s web portal is an online platform that provides van owners, service centres, and manufacturers with access to comprehensive information about the vehicle. Through the portal, users can view van history, security details, app content, and access troubleshooting tools, all in one convenient location.
The portal allows you to keep service records organised, view your van’s odometer via GPS, and run diagnostic scans. Owners can also check the van’s location and camera feeds, as well as customise the Sabre control screen, giving complete oversight and control from anywhere.
